3. User Responsibility & Output Verification

ScrubBeforeAI uses heuristic regular expression matching to detect and redact sensitive patterns (such as API keys, environment variables, database strings, and emails).

Because regex matching cannot cover every possible proprietary secret format, you bear sole responsibility for verifying the redacted output before pasting it into ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI platforms.

Do not assume the tool has caught 100% of your secrets. Always perform a quick visual review of the redacted window prior to clipboard copying.

4. Modifications to the Application

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove regex patterns, UI features, or compile layouts at any time without notice to keep up with security recommendations and tool compatibility.
